Helping heal hearts and minds...
A licensed clinical social worker with more than two decades of experience in private practice, I am passionate about what I do. I feel privileged to work with people who are committed to changing their lives for the better. In my current practice, I am fortunate to be doing work that utilizes my greatest talents, attributes and strengths, and I believe that I am doing exactly what I was meant to do.
My work is characterized by compassion, optimism, and collaboration. My style is relaxed and informal. I take an active role in sessions, and I prefer to focus on solutions than to dwell on problems. I am a student of the evolving field of the psychology of happiness, and I appreciate humor as a healing tool.
How can I help you?
I offer hope, validation and understanding.
One of the greatest human needs is to be heard and feel understood.
I offer support, inspiration and encouragement.
In a difficult time, we want to feel that we are on the right track, and that someone is
on our side.
I offer perspective, insight and interpretations.
Sometimes we need an objective viewpoint or an expert opinion to really understand our situation.
I offer ideas, strategies and options.
Creative thinking or stategic comparison of options can be a useful step toward the solution of problems.
